Guest post, Glenn Cunningham from Georgia, take note Keith Cowan

This post is from a former Massachsuetts native that has no ties to us other than being a consumer. Glenn lives in Georgia which just shows the reach we have across the country. Take notice Keith Cowan, this is a man from your state.

Dear Save Market Basket,

I live in Georgia, but grew up in Massachusetts. I know your stores very well and usually shop there when I’m home and need some items.
I am writing to you because I have been following these posts for the last six months or more and always read what you’ve posted. I have nothing invested in Market Basket- no friends or family work there, none ever have that I know of. Yet, I am invested somewhat by the time I spend reading all the posts.
I have lived all over the country and in Canada, seen a lot of things, but have never seen the outpouring of support from so many employees for their CEO. Currently, I am blessed to be working for a man like Arthur T, and understand your devotion. We can spend our entire lives looking for a place that will require so much of our time, that treats us with respect, treats us like family and at times even better than family. We all know lots of people that never get that opportunity, and when we talk glowingly about our place of work, many look at us like we’re crazy.
You keep fighting the good fight, the right fight. Keep pushing for what you know to be true. Keep supporting each other, your company, your leadership. Hold people accountable that are responsible for attacking what you love. And know this:
I am certain that I am not the only one that is watching, that is cheering you on. You are not alone. There are many, many more, that want you to succeed because we can see ourselves in your fight. You are giving hope to others that may have to fight for what they believe is the right thing to do, too. Keep the pressure on, keep shining the light in the darkness, keep exposing that which is hidden, and keep your cause just. No one loses when they hold their heads up.

Thank you,
Glenn Cunningham

Thank you, Mr. Cunningham! This letter is dead on, exactly why we are fighting the good fight! We will continue to support our beloved CEO and each other, until the wrongs have all been righted. Again, thank you!
